Raquel Pearson studied chemistry at Northwest Nazarene University and she graduated from Boise State University in the spring of 2018 with a degree in psychological science, focusing on human development.
Raquel is fluent in Spanish and is an aspiring immigration attorney. She hopes to continue advocating for the Latinx community and improving immigration legislation through her work. At CCJ, Raquel is a certified HIV and syphilis testing specialist, teaches Cuidate classes, is certified to implement the Families Talking Together program, and performs our Medicaid and CHIP outreach.
Born and raised in the Treasure Valley, she has a passion for improving the well-being of her local community. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband Derek, particularly backpacking through new terrains in the Pacific Northwest. They both love animals and have two dogs and one cat they love dearly.
